IIM Shillong to join hands with Myanmar University
The Indian Institute of Management has begun an international student exchange program with the Mandalay University, Myanmar. The program will help in promoting business relations between India and Myanmar.
The programme was inaugurated by Falguni Rajkumar, the IIM Shillong chairman yesterday agter taking approval from Ministery of external affairs and Manday Counsel General. The exchange programme will be of ten days. During this duration there will be a Refresher Course in Management which will help MBA students to understand management from a new perspective .In the wake of global changing scenarios.
The exchange programme is supposed to be a student-instructor-arranged intercultural immersion experience. It will focus mainly on the core Management learning, collaborative research and service.
To have more such collaboration in future IIM Shillong is in the process of signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Mandalay University
