Ditch intake of extra sugar by this simple trick
We often hear that we should see what is there in our food before we buy it. Though we try to read the ingredients list and nutrition value listed on the cans, and food packets but we hardly are able to comprehend it and know what does it actually means.. Like if there is 20 g of sugar on a label we do not know how much actually does it equal to physical sugar intake.. But not anymore. There is a simple trick for you to judge it.
- Take the listed grams of sugar, and then divide by four. That’s how many teaspoons, or small spoonfuls, of sugar are in there.
- If, for example, your soda has 20g of sugar in it, it means it has five teaspoons of sugar. for example. If your juice can has 40g of sugar, it has 10 spoon of sugar. Knowing this, you will definitely not feel like having it in one go, considering the sugar content consumed and its consequences on our body.
Experts say you should keep your added sugar intake to less than 40g per day.
Now you know how you can mentally limit your sugar content. Go ahead and be healthy!
